Alexander P. Koval was born on June 27, 1957, in Moscow.
In 1985, he graduated from the Moscow Institute of Management, named after S. Ordzhonikidze; specialty: “Engineer-Economist”.
1987 - 1990: Instructor and Deputy Head of the Organizational Department of the Kuntsevski District CPSU Committee, Moscow.
1990 – 1996: worked in the sphere of industrial and commercial business.
1997 – 2000: Deputy, First Deputy Governor of the Evenki Autonomous Region.
2000 – 2004: Deputy of the Russian Federation State Duma; 3rd convocation.
2003 – 2007: Deputy of the Russian Federation State Duma; 4th convocation.
2007 – 2009: Deputy of the Russian Federation State Duma; 5th convocation.
2000 – 2009: Chairman of the Subcommittee for Legislation on Insurance of the State Duma Committee for Financial Market.
2002 – 2009: President of the All-Russian Insurance Association.
03.2009-present time: Head of the Federal Service for Insurance Supervision.
Alexander P. Koval is a member of the Central Revision Committee of the “United Russia” Political Party.
