Sergey Pavlenko was born on November 6, 1958, in Novosibirsk
In 1981, he graduated from the Novosibirsk State University, Economic Faculty, specialty ‘Economist-Mathematician’.
He has candidate’s degree in economics.
He is skilled in English.
1981 – 1992, trainee-researcher, junior research fellow, research fellow at the Institute of Economy and Industrial Engineering of the Siberian Branch of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (Novosibirsk).
1992 – 1997, head of department, Deputy Head - First Deputy Head, Head of the Working Center for Economic Reforms of the Government of the Russian Federation.
1997 – 1999, Deputy Head – Head of Department of Social and Economic problems Monitoring of the Main Control Department of the President of the Russian Federation.
1999 – 2000, Deputy Head of Secretariat of The Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation.
2000 – 2004, Head of Secretariat of the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation - Finance Minister of the Russian Federation.
March 2004 – present time, Head of the Federal Service for Fiscal and Budgetary Supervision
Sergey Pavlenko was rewarded with the Honorary Diploma of the Government of the Russian Federation and the medal “The 200th Anniversary of the Finance Ministry of the Russian Federation”.
